Will there be scabs on my scalp?

Yes, small scabs around the grafts are a normal part of the healing process. They typically begin forming within the first 24 hours and fall off naturally within 5–10 days. Do not pick, scratch or attempt to remove scabs early, especially with Afro hair, as this increases the risk of damaging grafts or creating small scars. Proper washing as instructed will help them shed safely.
